    [RC] Windpuffs - Ridecamp Guest

    Roseann ahrnetwrk@xxxxxxx
Surely you folks have dealt with tons of windpuffs! My older gelding has just developed one on his hind leg, yes, it's fluid filled. I started riding him more than I have in a long time about a month ago, but have take it slow. Walks on trail (although he does like to do his share of jigging), and some arena work with soft footing.

It doesn't bother him, but it does bother me. The water pressure up at the barn I am at is excellent so I frequently run cold water on his legs for a few minutes. He is in his early twenties and has been a rock solid guy, and now that I am riding and enjoying him so, I'd like to do whatever I can to keep him fit, happy and sound. He does not have back shoes, front is shod with pads.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
