[RC] All Kidding Aside - Maggie & David

First of all, thanks to everyone who participated in the All Kidding Aside CTR and R&T, whether it was as a competitor, a volunteer, paid staff, or just keeping me company while I finished painting awards.

Secondly, this was my first attempt at hosting a R&T and I think it went really well. We had four teams from three states competing in the 25 miler and one team who had never met before the ride finished the 10 miler. Also, I'll say it again, you people are crazy! But a lot of fun! David and I are planning on doing this again next year. What do you think about a 50 and a 25 on Saturday and a 10 on Sunday?

I haven't gotten a local paper, yet, to see what it said about the missing hunter I found. Thanks, whoever it was that handed me the cell phone when I flew into camp.

If anyone wanted a t-shirt from the ride and didn't get one, neither did I, so I'm ordering more. Let me know before next week what size you want. They are $8 each.

Results from the R&T as follows:

    25 miles
    1) Mike Franusich and Becky Fox 3:08
    2) Lani Necomb and Kathy Broaddus 3:21
    3) Jean Heishman and Janice Heltibridle 3:50
    4) Roy and Theresa Heger 3:59 (and Roy doesn't ride!)

    10 miles
    1) Mike Andrea and Jim O'Kelly 1:29 (riding MY horse!)

If anyone wants results from the CTR, let me know. We had a huge turnout and I'm not sure all of ridecamp wants to know about it. Is there a list like ridecamp for CTR or R&T?

Maggie Pritchard--I got to sleep all night last night!!!!
