[RC] Swollen Glands - Karen J. Zelinsky

Okay folks, it's not the horses this time, it's ME, so, maybe I can help
solve this "what does it mean when there's a swelling on my horse's jaw?"
question..... I just ate 4 ears of corn-on-the-cob a couple of hours
ago. I am pretty sure that I am allergic to corn. Oh well -- couldn't
fight the urge. Now I have a very swollen gland (salivary methinks)
right on top of my right jaw line, just in front of my ear. It is so
swollen that it makes John F. Kennedy look wimpy in the jaw line
(remember, he DID have a medical condition - an symptom of which was a
very swollen, or perhaps overly broad in width jaw line). Anyhow, it
feels sore and tingly when I press on it. I feel normal in every other
    way. (oh, no - Karen's normal!)It's 10 PM now - I ate about 2 hours ago.
I'm tired and am ready to drop off. If I don't write in the morning,
    then.... call 911.

I expect that when I awake, it was just a dream....

    zzzzz Karen in PA
