    Yep just like some people are better skiers and hardly ever fall. Reaction time has a lot to do with it I think. Once you get off balance and get behind the motion you are dead meat. No number of riding lessons will save you. But if you are quick enough to shift your weight and balance and stay with the horse you are in pretty good shape.
