    I've done mainly LD & have had no trouble finishing within the time limit
for 25s, 30s, & 35s.  I ride at a moderate pace & usually spend a little
extra time at each vet check to let my horse eat a little more.  I trot when
trottable & walk when it is needed.  I've never been pulled for OT, so they
are definitely doable at a nice even pace.  Finish time is when you pulse
down, so if you walk in the last few hundred yards, your horse should
already be down when you cross the finish line.
