    [RC] Quick intro - Bia

    Hi everyone...
I decided to join this list after people on Gaited Horses List recommended
that anyone interested in endurance riding join. I haven't entered any races
yet. I bought a TWH that I adore named Sake in January and I have been
training him since then. He is a good trail horse (the nose to butt type of
horse, not used to being alone)...but never formally trained from the ground
up and hadn't been ridden in over a year... he was very out of shape (8
years old) and I have been working to build up muscles and cardio vascular
etc... I am in Maryland and I wonder if anyone can direct me to folks in
Maryland that i can get advice from regarding training and also where a
beginner competition trail and or endurance rider can start out in this area
when they are ready for their first race...
Thanks in advance and I am sure I will learn alot here.
    :)Bia
