Here are some photos from this years EHSC 30/50.  Kudos to Jackie B. and 
all her help for putting on another great ride!  The trail, as always, was 
spectacular, well marked and as beautiful and challenging as ever!!  The 
weather even cooperated and while warm, it wasn't too hot and we had a 
perfect day.  Awards were laundry bags, along with awards for weight 
divisions and top ten.  BC went to Randy Coleman and his mare Pandora's 
Pixy (who has over 7,000 miles).  I don't know who won because I couldn't 
understand, I was surrounded by a bunch of noisy kids <G> (sorry)

This year, several riders also received the Fire Mountain Horse Excellence 
award (a polarfleece blanket) -- an award that Jackie gives for the same 
horse/rider team who complete all 350 miles of her rides -- the Death 
Valley Encounter 4 day/200 miles, the 20 Mule Team 100, and the EHSC 50 -- 
and those riders and horses are, to the best of my memory:  Jane McGrath on 
Fire Mt. Scamp, Karen Sweaney on Montoya DSA, Jamie Mitchell on Lancelot, 
Kayla Ramsdell on Memphis Gem, Calina Nicholson on Rocky and me'n Weaver 
:-).  In case nobody noticed, there were no GUYS --- what's the deal you 
men and boys out there, can't at least one of you keep up with is 
GIRLS?  <hehe>
