Ridecamp: [RC] Non-Arab Horses??

Hi all--

I know that this topic has been beaten to death, but I was hoping for some insight.

My daughter (age 10, and 5' 3"), has outgrown the POA she rides.  I'm looking to get her a horse, but we are having a couple of problems:  She also does Pony Club, so we need a horse that Jumps; She likes riding a horse that has a lot of color (either Pinto or Appy); because of her age, I want a horse that is SANE; it has to be tall (best would be 15hh or taller, she'll probably be close to 6 feet in just another year or two).  The judge is already marking her down at Hunter shows because her feet hang too below the belly of her pony 8-(

I've been looking for over a month now, and I'm just not finding anything.  Before she convinces me to go and see the Paint and the Appy (lots of QH blood there), I would like a reality check!  We do LD rides together, but she'll probably want to move up to 50's in a year or so.  I don't want to hold her back in jumping, as that is where her friends are, but I also don't want to hold her back in endurance, as that is what WE do together.
