Just out of curiosity, how many of you remember when this
    list first
started - and it was 'endurance@xxxxxxxxxx' ? I still have
    the pins Nick
Warhol made with that on them. I think there were 25 on the
    list when it was
first born. In late 1994 ? John had just started an Internet
    company in
Moscow, Idaho and was trying to get me involved in the
    business so he
suggested I start an endurance website and email list (he's
    no dummy).

I guess the accusations of censorship are making me
    nostalgic for the 'good
    old days' :)

For those of you who are 'hanging in there' with Ridecamp -
    thanks. There
really is a fine line between open discussion and dirty
    rotten dog
accusations. And I'm not always paying attention (I like to
    ride sometimes).
And I have bad days too. So - my apologies to any of you who
    feel you've
been snubbed. I'm always open to private email - if you have
    a real problem,
a real concern, let me know. We can probably figure out a
    way to get your
concerns aired. I really don't like to tell others what to
    do - or not do.
But I've learned over the years that if I don't get
    involved, and let things
get out of hand, I lose people from the list whose
    participation adds
quality and value to the discussions. They get fed up and
    go away.

When in doubt, read Angie's Ridecamp Oath.
