Just this evening one of my other mailboxes had a message in it that I had
sent a virus, so it's spoofing one of my addresses too. I run Norton all the
time, incoming & outgoing emails. I didn't know the person/email it
supposedly went to, so they weren't in my address book. Also nobody was home
& usiing email anywhere near the time the message was supposedly received.
The Klez containing messages I've received from ridecampers addresses DIDn't
come through on ridecamp, but as private emails, so that was a pretty
obvious tipoff their addy was being spoofed also.

I got one supposedly from Truman but I am SURE this computer wizard would
never allow a virus to infiltrate his defenses. Thank God for my Norton,
too.

Was the virus Klez? Iv'e gotten a bunch, too, but I've been told that
the Kez is never from who it says it is. It pulls the "from" address from
caches and address books and other stuff residing on your own computer. I
thank Norton every day lately.
