I need help! My 13 yo arab mare foundered 2 wks ago. We think it was caused by new grass. She has 3 degree rotation in both front. My vet has her on styrofoam pads and she is becoming more mobile and fluid but walks tenderly. I have been researching like mad on any thing about laminitis. I want to help her any way I can and do right thing. I stumbled across a website called www,hopeforsoundness.com. It is about Natural Balance shoeing and Equine Digit Support System for foundered horses. Is anyone out there familier with EDSS? I am thinking of using it instead of heartbar shoes. Also, has anyone used Joint Jolt by a-b-c-plus? Or does anyone recommend any other supplement for laminitis? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
