    And as I sit here with my leg in a cast having broken my ankle three weeks ago....I came off my horse during a jumping outing.  While the dismount looked good in the air, the moment I hit the ground (landed on my feet) the ankle gave way -- now have two screws holding it together.  Knowing how to dismount quickly is a good thing but not without risks, however I would rather sit here in a cast than have landed on my back or neck and have potentially much greater injuries.
