Ridecamp: [RC] Pacers on Tevis

I must remind all of you that the Tevis is run on public trails, either in
Fed. or State jurisdictions.  We have no right to tell anyone he or she
can't be on the trail.  That being said, I haven't seen any posts except
from "anonymous" saying Potato was seen with these riders, or within a 1/2
hr. of these riders.  If anyone has any specific information to impart about
this or any other perceived violation of rules by anyone in the ride or
during the ride, I urge you to write directly to the Western States Trail
Foundation, either e-mail or snail mail, with specific information.  E-mail
address is wstf@xxxxxxxxxxxx; snail mail address is 1216-C High Street,
Auburn, CA 95603.  Phone calls or anonymous information are not enough.
E-mails and letters to WSTF received before 5 p.m. PST tomorrow, 7-31, will
be read that evening by our after-ride meeting participants.  Anything
received after that time will be presented at the next regular board of
governors meeting.
