    My farrier said to dilute bleach 4-1 , and spray on thrush. My vet says dilute 10-1 for rainrot.Straight burns and dries my hands out terribly, I rinse a long time.I'd never use it straight on any animal.

for thrush, he said good ol house bleach is all you need.

    Sounded like a good deal to me till I tried it.  I saved $7 on
Iodine...and ruined a $27 pair of jeans.

    Better describe your treatment.. I'll bet it involves watering it down. I
knew a girl who heard that and she soaked her foot in straight bleach.
She ended up with horrible chemical burns.  Bleach has its uses, but it
isn't always the bargain in the long run.
