Ridecamp: [RC] Moonlight in VT

The lack of completion awards didn't bother me as there was a nice ditty
bag handed out with your entry and a nice group of offerings for things
to purchase with the ride name/year. Although, a "Completion Certificate"
to file in my memory folders would have been a nice touch. Ink and
printer paper must be too much to include in a $100 entry fee or maybe
there wasn't time to scan and press print to produce 40 completion
certificates.
The Completion Awards Program is a way to put face with a name after
riding with many unfamiliar people all day. Finishing names with horses
were announced but no one was asked to stand so everyone could see who
they were. Mothers with daughters, husbands with wives, old best friends,
new best friends and the people that were having a great time riding
alone all day... together.  Vermont is beautiful and to say hello to
people by name is a beautiful way to say "I know you".
