[RC] Fayette de Camero - Shagyaarabs

    Hi Diane,

SMR Fayette de Camero is a bay mare. I believe about 14h 2 or 3 in in height.  Her Dam is a CMX mare and her sire is an imported but deceased bay Shagya Arabian stallion, Oman*.
The Shagya Arabian is a separate breed created by the Austro-Hungarian monarchy for their calavery.  They created a horse that should be able to carry the rider easily with a relaxed swinging back, easily trainable, thrifty and tough.  The stud books are closed now and the purebred Arabian is allowed and used about every 4th generation.    There are about 100 Shagya's (mares and stallions) in the USA approved for breeding.  I stand an approved Oman* son, Bayram.  If you would like I can send you Oman*'s pedigree privately.
