[RC] Tevis is Tevis - Steve Shaw

Ask anyone on the Tevis Board or anyone who volunteers for Tevis. It is
and will always be its own ride. AERC is lucky that it can sanction it.
It does and concedes some things to the TEVIS. Does everyone know what
was the very first endurance ride and what started the sport? What set
the standard, how top ten got to be? (Actually Wendel Robie wanted it to
be top 20 for BC but was talked out of it....

Tevis does some things (like BC) its own way. If AERC wants to restrict
it from these things Tevis would just as soon drop AERC sanctioning, and
will still have 200 riders each year.

    Steve Shaw
