[RC] Tevis BC Judging - Maureen A. Fager

snip "Thanks for explaining the way the Cup is scored. Sounds like it could be fair or become a political issue. Sounds a little like a homegrown FEI ride to me.(maybe thats where FEI got the idea" snip

Last year when I was watching the BC judging at Tevis, I was told that the way BC is judged for that ride grew out to the tradition of BC judging that Wendell Robie wanted for his ride.

It also used to be, that the folks who attended the award ceremony were expected to dress--women in dresses and men in suits. I have seen some old photos of the awards and they are dressed up.

I hope some folks from that era would speak up about the BC judging tradition for Tevis, as it is very interesting.

    Happy Trails,
    Maureen
