| Re: [RC] Heels down - CLRidnhigh
Centered rideing has a different therory. Riding with a level foot as if you
were walking on the ground with your legs stretched over your horse. Of
coarse the terrain your riding makes a difference. uphill heels slightly up
and downhill heels down. If you support yourself on your heel or your toe you
will get numbing in your foot. You need to support yourself on the soal of
your foot rather than heel or toe. This is also used in dressage. Look at
your top riders in dressage these days no more heels down guys! But everyone
is entitled to ride as they wish.
