Ridecamp: Re: [RC] Tevis news Carol Ruprechts proud parents

Hey Riders and Ride and Tie'ers.

 We are blown away, we know Carol and  Findefar are great, and the results
are no accident, but you all know anything can happen, and it was Carol's
husband Tom Gey, on Findefar's full sister HatTrick that were trying for top
10, Carol was going to lay back.

I'll try to be brief, if you want the long version, "nothing but the truth
so help me God", I dare you to ask me for it !.

Faratha was Carol's first horse, at 20(after trying to breed her for 2 years
with no luck, she and Majic had their first foal,   At 25 they had their
third, Findefar.  Findefars father is from Carol's little sisters Then Stud
Majic  He was 2 and a half at the time of their first breeding, which was
instant success, and only done because they were calling each other, and we
decided why not let them have fun!

Carol totally trained Faratha, and her babies, sister Elaine Ruprecht
totally trained Majic and many of his babies and grand and great grand
babies.

All these horses and their "get" are definately, back yard horses, either
born here or were bought way cheap, because the horse needed a home or the
kids needed a horse

All these horses are still "backyard horses" who have topped and best
conditons in both endurance and Ride and Tie.

 All these horses have been riden competed with by our children, ourseves
and our grandchildren.

That is a tenth of the story. so watch out.

The Proud Parents of some great kids who have created and kept their own
great horses.
