Re: [RC] Northwest Horse Supplement - DESERTRYDR1

Hi Brittany, I use NW Supplement because I think every horse that is not on a
diet that has been analyzed and balanced for vitamins, minerals, and such
should be on a (meaning ONE) vit/min supplement. I live in eastern WA, and
we are also known to be selenium deficient. I don't necessarily feed it for
the Se, but for the overall package. I have used it for ten years off and
on, and always come back to it. My horses seem to be very healthy and don't
get every sniffle that comes along. I doubt it's because of the NW
Supplement, probably because I try to give my horses overall good care. I
tried Allegra, which you have to feed at least 4Lb. a day to get the RDA, and
had problems with my horses' legs stocking up, which went away when I went
back to NW Supplement. Never fed the full 4 Lb. a day anyway, I prefer to
just feed the amount of grain I think they need and top dress with the
    vit/min supplement. jeri
