    To tell you the truth, I didn't think about it much one way or the other.  I 
    just always remembered it ('cause it was pretty nasty looking ... although 
    the horse didn't seem overly bothered).  The horse in question *did* look 
    like she had a skin condition, and not just in the girth area.
