Ridecamp: [RC] stethoscopes:

I did some comparison shopping last year on these stethoscopes.
We did not have the Klippert to test.
I did test several models of the Littman scopes and
a relatively new one (to me anyway)
I looked at a $70 dollar model of Littmans and
a $40 dollar model of the company Prestige. For the price
the quality of sound in the Prestige model 126 (Clinical 1 series) 
 was as good as the Littman model ( at $70)
The Prestige model was made just as durable if not better.
The test was listening to peoples hearts (not just my own)
Even the store owner was amazed at the outcome.
I made her listen to others also, and she agreed that this scope was the
best for the price.
So check around!
