    Truman:

You feel, really feel there is an interpretation of the
statement "The integrity of Endurance Competition requires
that the equine is not influenced by any drug, medication
or veterinary treatment." You feel that it cannot stand on
    its own?

Who do you wish to interpret for you so the meaning is
clear? In my mind, if the rider has to question if the
substance is a drug, then that substance should not be used.

While I support rule 13 and in general feel it is an
    acceptable rule,
I've always had one basic problem with it.

It puts the use of say 2 grams of vit C or 3 pounds of
    apples sauce
(Roger's example) on the same footing as the use of two
    grams of bute.
In my mind that's like saying that jaywalking and first
    degree murder
are equivalent. It just doesn't make a lot of sense.

I also have a very difficult time judging people's character
    (or
morality ) by their interpretation of a rule that begs for
    interpretation.
