RE: [RC] B.C.A.A. Complex - Bob Morris

    Scott:

I believe that you will find the use of electrolytes is a
replacement factor necessary for the sustaining of life. (to
an extent) The use of the B.C.A.A. Complex is not a
replacement factor nor is it essential to maintaining life.

The feeding of salt (electrolytes) is a necessary factor in
the health of most animals and is supplemented as a matter
of course in good animal husbandry.

In fact it is so necessary to animal life it is used as an
attractant by some "hunters" as a means of obtaining their
prey. These animals are always on the lookout for a source
    of salt (electrolytes) in nature.

    >>>So I would believe that if you dose the horse with these
substances the amount would be an abnormal amount as it is
not normally consumed in any quantity in nature. Thus the
use of these substances in competition are precluded whether
    they test or not.

    Bob,
I am new to this, but it seems to me that e-lytes contain
    "abnormal amounts"
of salts, etc...unless the horse usually grazes in a
    Siberian salt mine.
    What's the difference?
