RE: Re[2]: [RC] B.C.A.A. Complex - Bob Morris

    Well you guys;

To me it says that if you are not honest with what you do
and must win at any cost then go ahead and do as you wish.
It is your mind, your horse and your conscience.

If we are to have a good sport that every one, from juniors
to full fledged seniors and all riders in between, can
participate in with the knowledge that they all have a
chance to win, then every one should honor the intent of the
    Drug Rule.

If this is not possible to do, rely on peoples honesty, then
we will see our rules book enlarge every year to where it
    becomes unmanageable.

Those wishing to push the envelope are, I hope, in the
minority. When observed violating the Rules I would like to
thing the observers would take proper action. I know, I am
dreaming and it will never happen.

But I have gotten to the point where I do not care any more.
I know that my actions are clean, my children have learned
from their mother and I to do the correct things and our
grandchildren are the same way. This makes me happy, but sad
that others cannot be the same way.

If this is the way that endurance is to be lead, by a few
who will give it a bad image, I say to the membership, clean
house or someone will step in and do it for you in due time.

The AERC Rules are simple but good, all encompassing but
understandable and not encumbered by technicalities. Live
with them and live up to them.

TP> " ...........that contain evidence of.................",
    if they don't
TP> test where is the evidence? While I think rule 13 is a
    wonderful rule

    as written is
TP> it a rule or a policy statement regarding substances

TP> Bob, I figured this would wake you up.
