[RC] Finding the right horse - kit kat

Hey Everyone:) Well, I started my search looking for a pure arab or arab X, but the problem is, were I live, arab ppl believe that arabs should only have to care like 120lbs. Now me, I'm a heaveyweight rider. And in my search, I have been shot down and insulted and told him to fat to be riding and cruel....... the ppl out there can be sooooo nasty.... and all this to a 19yr old. Well, It miffs me, but I laugh because I rode a 13.2hh arab/welsh cob for 4 yrs and she NEVER had a problem with me riding her. She vetted in with a A back... Boy, sure sounds like she can't handle my weight eh. Now I faced facts and sold her... needed something bigger... but I am now looking in the 14.2hh to 15.2hh range, and seems like the owners have more problems then the horses with me... (Just the arab owners so far... and im not bashing you, its just the ppl that I have looked at there horses for sale) So, I gave up on arabs.. and am now looking at QH... so far so good.....no one has said im not fat to be riding a 14.2hh, 1100lbs QH. So, sometimes we are limited to chosing a certain horse. I never plan to be a front runner... im just in this for fun... so I think almost any horse could do a 25 miler with the proper conditioning. But Im always open to differnet breeds... I had not even considered a QH for endurance... but now, my options are wearing thin, so Im trying them out. Who know, I could be the next 25 miler winner on a QH............Just kidding... Oh, and so all of you know, The standardbred mare that i had went home... she had drugged her. She got even worse with the cows as the week went on. The last few days, she stood her feild and shook and sweated when the cows ran around.......to bad, she had the potential of a 50 miler horse. I will let you all know when I find that horse that my heart throbbs to have. Happy riding on whatever breed horse you have:)
sarah(Im pretending to ride a horse............need to be on a trail ride.....ye haaaaa.....*galloping human feet*)
