Also live in QH country, they call arabs "Sky-gazers or
Star-gazers" here! I kind of like that myself!!! We call
the QH's peanut rollers here too! Due more than anything to
the horrible WP look that is so popular with the show
crowd. Spent a day at an appy show and from outside the
ring, it looked as though the riders were all on headless
horses! It was sad actually, that and the kids with hard
hands, lunging horses at lunch for 30 min. at a canter in
both directions, (TIGHT circles) and of course the fake
tails which I thought were repulsive! I could go on, but
will just think about my first ride (LD probably) in a long
time!!!
