Ridecamp: [RC] E-Bay Saddle

Looks to me like an old TexTan which would probably not fit my horses.  I have a saddle like this.  It is worthwhile just to read the description.  Whoever wrote this has not a clue about saddles and horse stuff.....


This is a wonderful vintage leather hand embroidered saddle! There is such great detail throughout the whole saddle, it's remarkable!! It measures 26" long and 21" wide, the seat is 14.5" long and the rear seat part is 13" wide, it measures 32" from the middle of the seat to the end of the foot stirrup. This saddle is in very good shape and has hand beautiful embroidery. The handle and also the rear of the seat are very firm and sturdy. It is not a crack that you see in the photos of the handle, it's the leather wrapped around. It has all the neccessary attatchments; foot stirrups, the under belt, and several other straps. There is also extra straps in the back to carry your poncho! The bottom is also very nice as pictures will show. This saddle is in wonderful condition, what an excellent find! Ride 'em Cowboy!!
