    Thanks!  Great info and great guidelines!  I know I left my mare at the 
    Malibu (even though she DID meet your criterion and could have probably 
    traveled safely) and began what would have been a nearly 3 hour round trip 
    home and back to feed and walk our dog.  Fortunately, our neighbor called me 
    on the cell and said they were walking and feeding her, so I turned around 
    and enjoyed a fun Sat. night in camp with my wife, my "girlfriend," and some 
    friends.  Leaving Sat. night certainly is not a crime.  It isn't even a bad 
    thing in many instances.  But your post certainly goes a long way toward 
    defining those circumstances!  Thanks again.
