Ridecamp: [RC] The Aging Athlete

My friend Elaine Johnson has a 20+ Arab/Saddlebred mix that she started competing at age 17.  He had a colic surgery that same year and went right back to competing.  He has been doing LD's (I know some of you don't call that competing :0)  but will be trying his first 50 at the Manzanita Ride.  He's one tough, in shape, boy, and his mommy is not a youngster either, but I won't say her age :0)
