Criticism is part of all aspects of life.  As a professor of mine once told 
me, you must have the hide of a rhino and the soul of a poet to succeed in 
life.  I don't know the particulars of your group and whether the comments 
made about you all are true or untrue - only you know that.  But keep your 
chin up, kiddo.  Know the truth in your heart and live by that - not how 
others perceive it.  Take pride in your accomplishments, whatever they are, 
and keep a smile on your face.  My girls are 7, 8, and 9.  I hope they can 
write as well reasoned and sensible a letter at 14 as that which you 
composed!  Keep the Faith, Sara.  :o)
