Ridecamp: Re: [RC] juniors

 Although new to endurance, I'm not new to juniors in the
horse show world, having hauled my daughter all over the US
when she competed as a youth. I have seen and worked with
all sorts of young people and I must say I am very
impressed with the juniors I have seen competing in the CT
region! These kids are not only kicking major butt but are
doing it very graciously with the upmost respect for all
their fellow competitors, young and old. Very
refreshing...you parents and coaches should be VERY
PROUD!!!!! 

  As I was heading out for my last loop, it was a junior
that gave me a bright smile and lots of encouragement. Even
though it was a very hot and humid day and you could tell
she was tired. This gal won the 50 that day but was more
than just a winning rider, she is winning where it truly
counts, in depth of character. Where she finished in the
ride had nothing to do with this. Truly a class act!!!
