Partying isn't PC any more.   In the case of the Heritage ride, the ride 
camp is on county owned land and the terms of use of the area state no 
alcohol.  It's hard to have a real party without real party drinks.  I 
thought how cool it would be to have a keg of beer there (I don't even like 
beer myself, but I could force one or two glasses in the interests of 
conviviality) but it just can't happen.  I've actually thought about moving 
the ride camp because of that and a few other irritating restrictions.
