I would say unless there was documented proof of abuse caused the 
problem you'd have a hard time withstanding a protest. Lots of things 
can happen between the time a rider leaves the ride and they get home. 
The rules are pretty specific that "you cannot deny entry except for 
cause," and the way I read that the cause better be pretty good.

Sorry - I didn't word my question well.  What I meant was if I, as a 
RM, found out that a horse needed treatment after it got home due to 
some condition that arose from the ride (the issue aside of how I 
might have found this out) could I then not accept an entry the next 
year?
