In April I announced that the Swanton Pacific website is up for
viewing. Less than two months to go to the ride on "the world's most
beautiful trail". We offer 75 mile and 100 mile rides, neatly planned to
use the same vet checks. Checkpoint access is very easy, and all vet
checks but one are open to crews. Riders and horses are treated to little
luxuries on the trail at some unexpected locations. Our ride personnel and
vets are the best!

to see the site; print out the entry and send it in. We're looking forward
to another great ride this year and welcome all riders. It would be
wonderful to have some of you from other parts of the country; you won't be
disappointed! Unfortunately, the ride will NOT be FEI sanctioned this year, as noted in
the site. The FEI manager was unable to continue the good job she
did last year, as her work constraints have interfered. But there
have been feelers extended for this trail to be an IAHA championship, and/or an
AERC championship in the near future. Further investigation of the
requirements for these events will reveal whether we can meet the needs of these
organizations.
