    Quoted from kit kat's message:
you tell me how to work towards it, but then you say not to do that to my horse?

Don't force your horse. Work slowly towards solving your problem.

To have a endurance horse, I NEED to be able to leave the yard and ride. <snip> I just don't want to be run over and reared at when she want to get away.

To have an endurance horse of course you need to be able to leave the yard and ride - I'm just saying take your time. I'm also saying that if she's running you over and rearing to get away from something, you need to get her over her fear, but you can't force that by making her stand right next to cows before she's ready, for example, or stand at the end of the driveway with big trucks driving by. She needs to be brought to those points gradually so that when you are at the point of riding along the roadside you won't be dumped by a horse that's afraid.

However, before working on either the cow or the truck situation, I think you need to work on her ground manners. Some horses off the track have never learned that! Your mare needs those basic lessons to be learned fully before she's tested on cows or trucks. Then she needs all the rest of her basic lessons - under saddle, etc. The endurance trail is not the place to be teaching the basic stuff - it's the goal for after your horse already knows that much!
