[RC] OD's 6th in the 50 was in meat pen 6 wks ago? - Jeff Brickson
Who has preliminary results from OD? My buddy says this little gelding got
6th in the OD with a Jr, just 5 1/2 weeks out of the auction meat pen....can
anyone tell me if the 6th place was a gelding owned by Mike Marino with a
Jr. on board? My buddy rescues; he said he had to go get Mike and convince
him to buy this nice little gelding from a slaughter-buyer at the New
Holland auction that he couldn't fit in his own barns last month because of
two other horses he got. Neat story if it's true. Have been waiting for
posting of results. BTW the other two horses he got are another nice 14.1H
gelding, a Muscat grandson, and a strong-looking mare, both chestnuts. The
mare is about 15H. They're in SE PA. He's had them riding on trail through
this spring and summer with a John Lyons trainer just to keep them fresh.
If interested, let me know and I'll send you pictures that I took of them.
Both are good trail horses and easy to handle.
