Re: [RC] horse tying up & vitamin E - FASTGraphic
I get a little worried about overdosing my Standardbred mare! She currently
gets (in addition to grass/3way/and alfalfa hay) a mushy bowl of Purina
Complete Advantage, Select 1 Vitamin Supplement, soaked beet pulp, whole
oats, barley, and a little corn. Believe it or not, she is still considered
thin by all the "cowboys" that look at her out here in California - land of
the fat Quarter horses. :o)
I just picked up a tub of Vitamin E to add to her mush and now I read this
post and feel even better about the decision to do so.......but am I
approaching the "JESUS! YOU'RE OVERDOING THIS NUTRITION THING!" level? :o)
The damn cowboys around here think I'm nuts....they just throw in a flake of
alfalfa twice a day and forget about it!
Scott (spending more time fixing her food than my own)
Soltaire (burp :o)
