    Hi Pat
    
    I did the Tevis in '86 & '87. Right now I live in the 
    Pocket area of Sac. It's along the river on the way to 
    Elk Grove. I agree with you about the camp fire and war 
    stories. I always stayed the night after the ride and 
    pulled out on Sunday. I enjoyed being in the country, 
    with friends, just enjoying the whole atmosphere of a 
    ride. If folks aren't doing that any more they don't 
    know what there missing.
