    Can't speak for any vet school except Colorado, but they are discussing the
    effect of genetics on disease quite a bit now, on both the large animal and
    small animal sides of the hospital.  We even had a 2 hour lecture that
    essentially boiled down to discussing with a client how to diplomatically
    tell them You Shouldn't Be Breeding This Four-Legged Freak Show.<g>
