When I first joined RC, about two
years ago (doesn't time fly when you're having fun), there was a discussion
going on about making a movie about Endurance. At that stage, the talk was
about who would be in the lead, and I think we decided on Mel (Gibson, not
Brooks, despite my tongue-in-cheek response to Pat).
Anyway, this whole "Men In
Tights...er...Endurance" chat has got me thinking that, at times, RC is a soap
opera in its own right. I only know what a couple of y'all (yay!) look
like, but I have some pretty clear pictures in my (rather dirty) mind.
ANYWAY, here's my cast for "RIDECAMP : THE MOVIE"
Steph : Kathleen Turner (C'mon, could
it be anyone other than "The queen of the silver screen"?)
Angie : Meg Ryan (I kinda think of
Angie as little but gutsy and cute).
Susan Garlinghouse : that dark-haired
chick who was in the wheelchair in "Notting Hill". Not that I see Susan in
a wheelchair, but this chick had a sorta authoritarian, but naughty air about
her.
Howard : Bill Murray.
Truman : Dustin Hoffman (No, Truman,
not in drag!)
Bob Morris : The guy who starred as
the dad in Ten Things I Hate about You.
Who'm I missing?
Sorry I'm so bad at names. I
used to have a memory, once, I swear I did!
