RE: [RC] Newbie - Tami Bourassa

Thanks Joane, I'm sure we'll meet some local riders to help us get the hang of things.  Sounds so technical.  I'm hoping the volunteering will give us a clue.

    Hi Tami,

All you need to remember is that 90%+ of us appreciate our volunteers to death.  We would never have a ride without the volunteers and crews.  Sometimes we get overly competitive or if our horses need attention, sometimes we forget to "ThankYou" but the thought is always there.

Now, there are a few riders, as in any aspect of life, who are real dinks--to use a nice word.  Just remember if you happen to run in to one of those, that we ALL think they are dinks so you will be in good company if you think so too.

This is such a fun sport and volunteering gives you a great perspective. Go for it! If you were out here in the Mountain Region, I'd ride an LD with you.
