    I have used this rule for my mare from the beginning...only have had to
use it a few times. She was very bossy with me, did not kick but lunged in
for a bite. She's definitely responded to it.
    Question:  She responds better to men then to other women, ie. she does
not try to boss men around. Is this my imagination or is there some truth in
it?
