I had an outline of a hoof on my shin/calf.  I got on a mare in a field
and her young buddy stallion wheeled around and nailed me.  I got an
x-ray cause it felt broke.  The doctor said the bone was
"compressed"...on the x-ray it didn't have the halo that the bone usually
shows.  It stayed discolored like a bruise for a few years, and the
indent stayed for several years but is gone now. I miss it. It was one of
those "Oh yeah, well look at this" conversation pieces.  Dr. said the fat
cells had been killed.  Gave me a whole new idea for a diet....pummeling!
Count on *my* fat cells to come back from the dead.
