Re: [RC] Horses that kick - Agilbxr

I guess lesson # 1 of horses comes into play here...

Injuries are a part of owning horses.  Unfortunatly.

Personally, Alpine will kick in the field (he's out with about 28 other horses), but has never kicked under saddle.  Doesn't mean he won't.  Anyone who's met us at the 2 rides I've been on can attest to the red ribbon on his butt.  It's there because I hope it'll keep people backed off a bit.  And if he even offered to think about kicking under saddle, he'd remember the consequenses of it.  I've been kicked cause I was stupid, and I've been kicked minding my own business when a mare backed up and kicked.  It's everyone's responsibility to PAY ATTENTION.   I will stay off your butt if you'll stay off mine :)

Juli and Alpine (mom will make me spin if I pin an ear, I'd hate to see what would happen if I lifted a leg....)
