Ridecamp: Re: [RC] Conditioning Ride

  Maria,

  Someone told me there is a trail at Lake Quitman but
haven't been so don't know anything about it. You've been
to Cooper lake right? Thats less than 2 hours for you..good
place to go when the trails are dry...lol. One weekend you
outta pack up and go to Cedar Lake in OK. It was a 4+ hour
drive from Emory, where I picked up my friend and his mule.
Nice easy drive, hardest part was driving through downtown
Paris. Trails are awsome for conditioning..lots of very
steep grades, hard to find anything like that in TX
(atleast where we live). The facilities are
super...hookups, flush pottys and clean showers! Not bad
for $13/night. You will need shoes and, if you ride more
than 2 days, pads as it is VERY rocky.
