Re: [RC] supracor pads and hrms - Truman Prevatt

The first time I used a supracor pad, the heart rate monitor kept slipping out, dangling in the breeze. There seems to be a "sweet spot" where it pretty much stays in place. It's back under the saddle more rather than up behind the wither. Since I've started putting mine back there, it's not been a problem. Of course each vermin is probably different.

For those of you who use Supracor saddle pads and are also using a heartrate monitor, have you come up with any great ideas for keeping the withers electrode in place?  I'm about to stitch on some velcro to the underside of the pad and glue on the matching piece to the electrode.  Otherwise, that electrode will quickly slip off...which has a negative effect on accuracy...  :-)
