Sounds like the feedlot folks not wanting gray cattle because they think
they don't perform as well. Turns out what they really don't want is
Brahmans, but because Brahmans frequently are gray, the prejudice just sort of
grew into a bias against all gray cattle. Color in livestock and horses
inspires the darnedest responses from people, doesn't it?
