I think that is very true. A little personal story .... Some years ago I was riding Cindy Budler's horse Jafar who was known to kick from time to time so he wore a red ribbon. I was a green rider but with Cindy as my mentor, everything normally went well. On this particular ride, a young girl, also green as grass, was riding what I assumed was a green horse as well. She kept bumping into Jafar and I kept telling her to back off - all the other riders were also telling her, but she kept on doing it. Jafar eventually had enough and kicked out, catching her horse on the upper front leg. It wasn't too serious, the horse wasn't even lame, although he did become lame after the vet check when he cooled down, but guess what? She didn't stop bumping into us. It was very annoying to try and keep out of her way all the time - I had to keep an eye on her to stay out of HER way the entire ride!

Some people - riders OR drivers - never learn manners and will be that way even if they are still in the sport 10 years later.

PS Ibn's yellow ribbon has also not been heeded - "oooo, what a pretty plait and ribbon, the colour really suits him" !!!!!!!!!
